Attic TV - Episode One Is Here, Baby!

Finally, after months and months of procrastinating, we've finally pulled Attic TV together!

Here's the concept - rather than just talk sport, we want to show you our city, Dunedin, and as far afield as we can get around the rest of New Zealand. With the Rugby World Cup here in 2011, tens of thousands of you will be arriving on our shores - so between now and then we're going to show you around the place, and prepare you for your trip here.

So it's not a sports show, as much as it's an excuse for us to get out and play around. We plan to talk sport a bit while we're out and about, but we tend to fail at sticking to our plans, so it's anyones guess as to whether or not that will actually happen.

The only real guarantee is that...wait...we can't actually guarantee anything.

OK, as you were.

We have a giveaway and a charity auction in our first episode -

Here's a link to the auction, which is for a 2010 All Blacks jersey signed by 23 All Blacks.

Huge thanks to Greg Peters at Wellington Rugby for organising the signings!

The giveaway is the DVD 'I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer' - it's an awesome movie, so a big thanks to Media42 for flicking us a copy to give away!  Check out their website at www.therunsmovie.com, and watch the awesome HD trailer here. Oh, and if you don't win the DVD, you can still get your hands on it in NZ, here, and in Australia here.

To win the DVD, simply follow us on Twitter, and then tweet this (or retweet it when you see us tweeting it) - "RT @sportsfanattic I know how many runs you scored last summer! http://youtu.be/xC7pnsLKgmk RT this to be in to WIN the DVD"

The draw will close on September 17th at 7pm NZ time, and we'll announce the winner in the episode of Attic TV that gets filmed that weekend. Competition is open to anyone over the age of 18, from any where.

Right, enough waffling - might as well just watch us waffle in person:
